Twinbrook Station Development
During their time at The JBG Companies, Network’s principals collaborated with the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority (WMATA) to reimagine the Twinbrook Metro parking lots into Twinbrook Station—an award winning, transit-oriented development featuring 1,600 dynamic residences, 325,000 square feet of Class A office space, and 220,000 square feet of exciting shops, restaurants, and energized retail entertainment. Network founded and led The Twinbrook Partnership, a public-private partnership of area stakeholders, to advance planning and funding objectives for the project in addition to coordinating community events. Navigating an array of complex zoning and regulatory structures, Network ultimately created substantial value for the stakeholder group and established a compelling master plan for a modern live-work-play, new-urbanist community. Twinbrook Station was awarded Best Smart Growth Master Plan Under Development by the NAIOP MD/DC Chapter in 2004.
