Our Team
Rod Lawrence
Rod Lawrence is a founder and managing partner of Network Realty Partners and one of Washington D.C.’s leading real estate executives. Mr. Lawrence has over 35 years of experience in all aspects of commercial real estate investment and development with a particular focus on acquiring and developing large scale, mixed-use projects, and leading significant property entitlement initiatives across multiple jurisdictions, often involving public-private partnerships.
Prior to founding Network Realty Partners, Mr. Lawrence spent 30 years with The JBG Companies as a partner focused on creating and developing vibrant urban and suburban mixed-use, transit-orientated communities. Mr. Lawrence served on JBG’s Investment and Management Committees and led the Development Group, which consisted of 70 professionals working on 80 projects worth over $10 billion at peak levels. He headed the company’s government leasing and build-to-suit initiatives which led to transactions totaling more than 10 million square feet, which established JBG as one of the largest U.S. federal government landlords.
Mr. Lawrence earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from The College of William and Mary and a Master of Business Administration Degree in Real Estate and Urban Development at The American University. He served on the Board of Trustees of NAIOP, the NAIOP Research Foundation, Gonzaga College High School and the Washington Jesuit Academy. He has also served on and created numerous community development associations and Business Improvement Districts. He was a founding member of The White Flint Partnership, The Twinbrook Partnership, and the Rosslyn Business Improvement District.
Bill Morris
Bill Morris is a founder and managing partner of Network Realty Partners. Mr. Morris has almost 40 years of commercial real estate experience as an industry-leading real estate advisor and investor. Throughout his career, he has accumulated diverse experience epresenting office tenants in all types of office lease, sale, and build-to-suit transactions and crafting innovative value creation strategies for office assets. His extensive industry relationships, deep understanding of the D.C. Area real estate markets, and insight into workplace trends benefit the company’s leasing, design, investment, and development strategies.
Prior to founding Network Realty Partners, Mr. Morris co-founded Morris-McNair & Associates, Inc., a respected Washington, DC-based boutique brokerage firm specializing in office leasing and investment sales, which was later acquired by The St. Joe Company and became the Washington, DC regional office of Advantis GVA. Mr. Morris continued to grow his investment sales and tenant advisory practice over the ensuing seventeen years at Advantis GVA, Grubb & Ellis ,and Avison Young, where he was consistently recognized as a top-producer nationally in each company. Mr. Morris has developed residential land, led office acquisitions and investments, and been an active investor across all asset classes for many years. Bill is a 1983 graduate of Tulane University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in Management degree and was a member of the Varsity Tennis Team.
Ed Johnson
Ed Johnson is a founding member and partner at Network Realty Partners. Mr. Johnson brings strong development and construction experience with a particular focus on investment strategy, master planning, mixed-use development, and asset repositioning. His product expertise includes mixed-use residential, retail, and fee simple housing, including projects throughout the Mid-Atlantic and Southeast regions.
Mr. Johnson leverages his 15-year real estate career to create value-add solutions to complex master planned sites, ground-up development, and repositioning investment opportunities. His previous experience with Clark Construction, Clark Realty Capital, and The JBG Companies uniquely positions him to deliver value throughout the investment lifecycle on a range of asset types.
Mr. Johnson earned his MBA from The University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, with a concentration in Real Estate Development. While there, he served as a Fund Manager on the KFBS Real Estate Fund, the only student-run direct investment real estate private equity fund in the country. Mr. Johnson also received his Bachelor of Architecture from Virginia Tech.
Greg Trimmer
Greg Trimmer is a partner of Network Realty Partners and one of Washington D.C.’s most experienced development executives, having overseen the delivery of over four million square feet of ground up development and entitlement of more than seven million square feet. Mr. Trimmer’s 20 years of experience acquiring and developing properties includes deep work in commercial office, government build-to-lease, condominium, multifamily, land development, and retail across every jurisdiction in the DC Metro area.
Prior to founding Network Realty Partners, Mr. Trimmer spent 16 years with The JBG Companies and JBG Smith as an Executive Vice President overseeing their commercial and government development, as well as operations in Fairfax County. During his tenure he also served on task forces to draft and adopt the White Flint and Twinbrook Master Plans in Montgomery County, and the Reston Transit Area Comprehensive Plan in Fairfax County.
Mr. Trimmer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Virginia and a Master of Business Administration degree from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He serves on the Board of the Arlington Free Clinic, the Rail to Dulles Phase 2 Advisory Council, and the Alumni Real Estate Council at the University of Virginia School of Architecture.
Kelly L. Spencer
Kelly Lawrence Spencer is a Vice President at Network Realty Partners. Ms. Spencer leads the company's asset management team where she focuses on business plan execution across Network's portfolio.
Since joining Network in 2019, Ms. Spencer manages and has grown the company’s portfolio to over 1.2 million square feet, has led the negotiations for over 1.1 million square feet of office leasing and is currently overseeing over 900,000 square feet of tenant interior construction valued at $160 million. Prior to joining Network, Ms. Spencer was an investment sales broker involved in the marketing and sale of over 50 investment sales transactions throughout the Washington, D.C. Region. Ms. Spencer was a co-founder of the Capital Markets Group at EDGE Commercial Real Estate (now KLNB), an investment sales platform specializing in the disposition of mid-market suburban office, industrial/flex, and neighborhood retail. Prior to joining EDGE, Ms. Spencer served as a Senior Associate in the Investment Sales Group at Metropolis Capital Advisors and was an integral member of Transwestern's Mid-Atlantic Commercial and Multifamily Investment Sales Teams.
Ms. Spencer is a graduate of the University of Maryland Robert H. Smith School of Business, where she received dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Finance and Marketing. She is a licensed real estate salesperson in Washington, D.C. and Virginia and is an active member of the DC Real Estate Group.
Sean Kraft
Sean Kraft is a vice president at Network Realty Partners. Mr. Kraft’s primary focus is sourcing, underwriting, and acquiring new acquisitions, as well as managing corporate operations.
Prior to joining Network Realty Partners, Sean Kraft spent six years in the Washington, DC office of Jones Lang LaSalle (formerly HFF) as a member of the office investment sales team. In this role, Mr. Kraft led a team of analysts and oversaw many aspects of the investment sales process including underwriting, the preparation of marketing materials, and due diligence. Mr. Kraft played a major role in $1.7 billion of closed office transactions across the Washington, DC region, and was also heavily involved in many successful pitch efforts for the group.
Prior to JLL, Mr. Kraft was an associate in the government advisory group of CohnReznick in Bethesda, Maryland, where he performed accounting and financial advisory services for public-sector clients. Mr. Kraft is a Certified Public Accountant in Delaware and earned a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate degree from Georgetown University. Mr. Kraft is also a graduate of Loyola University Maryland, where he received his Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance degree and served as a member of the men’s varsity tennis team.
Patrick Myers
Patrick Myers is an associate at Network Realty Partners. Mr. Myers brings extensive construction experience and is primarily focused on development, design, and construction management.
Prior to joining Network Realty Partners, Patrick Myers spent four years with Coakley & Williams Construction, overseeing all aspects of construction projects from bid to completion, including procurement and contract negotiations, client and subcontractor relations, schedule development, quality control, and close-out. Mr. Myers successfully completed the delivery of over 25 projects, consisting of more than 450,000 square feet and $135 million in value across several different sectors including education, mixed-use, office, and life sciences.
Mr. Myers earned a Bachelor of Science degree from Miami University and a Master of Professional Studies in Real Estate from Georgetown University. He is also a LEED Green accredited professional.
Christopher Morris
Christopher Morris is a senior analyst at Network Realty Partners. Mr. Morris’s primary focus includes asset management, leasing, new acquisition due diligence, and day-to-day office operations.
Prior to joining Network Realty Partners, Mr. Morris worked as a Market Research Associate in the Washington, DC office of Lincoln Property Company as a member of the DC office landlord brokerage team. In this role, Mr. Morris assisted the team in representing landlords across the District and was responsible for research of the downtown office market.
Mr. Morris is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality Management with a minor in Business Administration.
Quinn Boyd
Quinn Boyd is a senior acquisitions analyst at Network Realty Partners. Mr. Boyd’s primary focus is sourcing, underwriting, and acquiring new acquisitions.
Prior to joining Network Realty Partners, Quinn Boyd spent two years in the Fort Worth, TX office of Vaquero Ventures as a member of the Acquisitions and Development team. In this role, Mr. Boyd oversaw many aspects of the build-to-suit development process including underwriting, site acquisition, and due diligence.
Mr. Boyd is a graduate of Texas Christian University, where he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance with a minor in Accounting.
Josh Hartman
Josh Hartman heads the leasing team at Network Realty Services. Mr. Hartman brings a strong quantitative background to his representation of both office tenants and building owners through the Mid-Atlantic region.
Prior to joining Network Realty Services, Mr. Hartman was a Principal at Avison Young for 12 years. His background prior to entering the commercial real estate industry included several years as a financial statement auditor at a Big 6 public accounting firm.
Mr. Hartman received his BS in Accounting from Bucknell University, where he was also the captain of the Division I men’s golf team.
