901 North Capitol Street

Network has planned a 120-room, short-term rental (“STR”) apartment building in the plaza at Union Square. The STR business model meets a growing source of demand from customers seeking stays that are longer than traditional hotel bookings but shorter than typical one-year apartment leases. The fully furnished units at 901 North Capitol will include kitchens and average 650 square feet, making them comparable to the increasingly efficient studio and one-bedroom units being delivered in traditional multifamily buildings. The building will also serve to activate the plaza between the two existing office buildings.
